Where we are

We await you in the historic center of Poppi, in the heart of the Casentino valley, a short stroll from the ancient castle of the Conti Guidi, a local landmark easily seen from a distance.

How to reach us

From Arezzo
From Arezzo, you follow the upper Arno valley on Umbro-Casentinese state route SS71, which passes through all the major Casentino towns: Subbiano, Rassina and Bibbiena. Just after the bridge at Bibbiena, you take a left on the road signposted to Ponte a Poppi (the Bridge at Poppi). There you turn left at the main intersection and go up to the old town of Poppi.

From Florence
Head toward Firenze Sud, and then to Pontassieve, where you join state route SS70 going to the Passo della Consuma (Consuma pass). Once over the pass, you descend to the upper Casentino valley, passing through Scarpaccia and Borgo alla Collina. Continue to Ponte a Poppi and turn right to go up to the old town.

From Barberino del Mugello
Follow state route SS56 at Mugello, go through Londa and over the pass of Croce ai Mori, arriving at Stia. Continue from there to Pratovecchio, Porrena, Ponte a Poppi and Poppi.

From Valdarno
Go over the Passo della Crocina and down to Rassina, where you head toward Bibbiena, then Ponte a Poppi and Poppi. (See directions from Arezzo).

From the Bagno di Romagna exit on route E45
You go over the Passo dei Mandrioli, arriving at Badia Prataglia. You head toward Bibbiena, and at Soci you turn off onto the road for Ponte a Poppi and Poppi.

A longer, but much more scenic route is to continue toward Camaldoli and go down through the ancient forest to Moggiona. Continue down the road to where it meets the road just outside Ponte a Poppi, turning right there.

From the Pieve Santo Spirito exit of route E45
Take state route SS208 for Chiusi della Verna over the Passo dello Spino. Continue to Bibbiena, where you turn left after the bridge onto the road for Ponte a Poppi and Poppi.

From Forlì
Take state route SS310, crossing over the Passo della Calla and arriving at Stia. Proceed from there toward Pratovecchio, Ponte a Poppi and then Poppi.
